“Put God First”, Mamiko tells a young congregation

It was a moment of enjoying what a young person had to bless a young congregation with the blessing they had in training under the auspices of JISMO. “MaaKose or Mamiko”, as she is fondly called, points out to learners of White Valley International School the need to intentionally place God first in all that they do.

The vision of the Jesus In School Movement is to see young people greatly influence their society. According to Prophet Frederick Ocran, from the very preliminary stages of their lives, young people are in dire need of what to learn, who to learn from, how to learn, and a character formation that spells out how the future of nations will be..

He also added that young people will constantly be flooded with options and what to choose. However, the lack of training, guidance and counseling, mentorship on this voyage of life will only expose them to the usual trap of being guinea pigs in the laboratory of life. “This would not be good”, he says, “as these young folks cannot do much without the aid of institutions like JISMO that will forge a platform for them to experiment the leadership they have had through training.”, he added.

At the end, Prophet Ocran speaks to the young people to take the opportunity that is placed at their feet for a powerful training that JISMO affords.
