Ladies and Gentlemen, I humbly greet you in the name of God the Father the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
The Teachings in October has been an interesting one and an opening of eyes
Holy Spirit my good friend I thank you for all that you have been doing. Continue to teach us. Help us to understand. We come against any high standards that may lift itself against the word of God by the precious name of Jesus Christ.

Let us set the ball rolling
Continuing from where we ended yesterday, we looked at the types of Prophets or Prophecy
As I said yesterday, we have two types of Prophets or Prophecy
THE TYPES OF PROPHETS or Prophecy.

1. The GIFTED PROPHET ( Desiring One )
2. The OFFICE PROPHET ( the God-ordained one )
   THE GIFTED PROPHET.

The GIFTED PROPHET is the one who per his or her Faithfulness in serving the lord, God gives to Him or Her a PROPHETIC SPIRIT and that becomes a GIFT from God.

Again, a GIFTED PROPHET is the one who has the BURNING DESIRE to be a Prophet.

In the same way, God also do for us.
Let us read the BOOK OF 1 CORINTHIANS 12 1 TO 10 ).

In the verse one, it says that;
Now concerning SPIRITUAL GIFTS …..
In the verse 10 it says that;
To another Prophecy ……..
So Christian Friends, to make it short, ANY MAN OF GOD or a church member who is obedient, Faithful and have the BURNING DESIRE to be a Prophet can get it as a GIFT

Remember that it is a GIFT, and for that reason, God can choose to give it to you or not to give it to you.
In any other case, God is the one to give it to.
THE OFFICE PROPHET

This is the Prophet whom God has Ordained, Consecrated, chosen even when He or She was a Cloth of blood in his or her mother’s womb

In the Book of Jeremiah 1 v 5 )
It reads:

Before I formed you in the belly I knew you, and before you came forth out of the womb I SANCTIFIED YOU, AND ORDAINED YOU A PROPHET UNTO THE NATION

Please let me paraphrase;

For the verse two;

As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, SEPARATE Me, Barnabas and Saul, for the work I have called them.
Now I would want us to know all these so that we MUST SEE the NEED TO HAVE PROPHETS IN THE CHURCH.
Now let me branch to the angle of the types of OFFICE PROPHET
TYPES OF OFFICE PROPHET

There are also two types of OFFICE PROPHET.
These are;

1. The MAJOR PROPHETS ( SUN )
2. The MINOR PROPHETS ( MOON )
   The major and the minor is BASED ON THEIR ASSIGNMENTS
   Examples of;
3. Major Prophets include;
   Jesus Christ, Elijah, Elisha, Moses, Jeremiah, Ezekiel to mention but a few.
   Examples of;

Minor Prophets include;
Micah, Hosea, Amos among others
One reason why Prophets are needed in the Church is because of the TWO MAIN REASONS STATED BELOW

1. PROPHETS NEUTRALIZE CURSES ( 2 KINGS 7 V 1 TO 2,. MATTHEW 11 28 )
2. PROPHETS GIVE DIRECTION
   In conclusion, I would want to clear this MISCONCEPTION

Let us know that NO Prophet is above Jesus Christ and if He Jesus Christ went out to preach to the poor, walk from distance to distance and preach the word of God, WHO ARE YOU?

In our world today Prophets are feeling so so comfortable waiting for the people to come. Mercy!!

May the Prophetic Ministry of Jesus Christ and Moses come upon us.
